Steel Cylinders – PST and Worthington

As you may be aware, PST and Worthington are no longer in the business of making steel scuba cylinders.  Since these cylinders were authorized for use in Canada under Special Permits, many have asked what will happen when the permits expire?  Well, the legal answer is, no cylinder with an expired permit can conitnue in service.  The good news is that both PST and Worthington are still renewing their permits for the foreseeable future for these cylinders.  The current permits for both of these cylinders are valid until 2019.  The TC permit info can be found at:
